Our story

Hurco CNC vertical machining centre at Evo Precision Engineering's Tuam, Co. Galway workshop

Evo Precision was founded in April 2020 by Robert Gately, a qualified toolmaker and manufacturing engineering graduate. The aim was to give Irish manufacturers a reliable local source for precision components at a time of supply-chain disruption.

Starting from a small workshop in Enniscrone, Co. Sligo, Evo took on rapid-response work and projects that had previously been made overseas, building strong relationships with customers across Ireland. Today, from a modern facility in Tuam, Co. Galway, steady investment in CNC machinery, inspection equipment, software and skilled people has grown both our capacity and our capabilities.

We now support customers in the medical-device, pharmaceutical, automation, food-processing, agricultural, construction and general manufacturing sectors. Our work runs from design support and prototypes through to complex machining, assembly and repeat production, all backed by ISO 9001:2015 certification since July 2026.
